C420 Race Team
Ages: 12+ and/or over 120 lbs

Practice Schedule: M, W, F 12-6pm till school starts
C420 Race Team is for sailors ages 12 and up or sailors over 120lbs — even if you’ve never sailed before. The C420 is a double handed boat. Our experienced skippers and coaches can teach you how to crew and then as your skills grow you can grow into skippering.
The Regatta Travel Schedule includes 3 regattas in this session. Details can be found on the events page. We will practice 3 days per week for 6hrs each practice throughout the late summer season until school starts. 3 regattas in this session and 108 hours of coaching time focused in building confidence on the water and leveling up skills and tactics

Registration Form
After you’ve completed the registration purchase, please submit this registration form giving us more details about your sailor. Scholarships are available for any local Hatteras Island resident who need a little help with registration. Just fill in the form here so that your spot is reserved (please make a note in the more information that a scholarship is needed). We will take care of the rest.
NOTE: Your child will not need any special gear other than a pair of water shoes or boots to protect feet from oyster shell cuts. The club supplies boats, lifejackets, etc. If your child chooses to sail in the Fall Regatta, that registration fee is separate to the regular sailing registration
