Spring ’23 Weekend Sailing Collegiate 420 Clinic for 13-18 years old
Practice and participation in the Wind ‘n Waves regatta are mandatory for all sailors signing up for this spring practice clinic. Collegiate 420 is a team sport, you must commit to your teammate that you are going to sail together and stand by your word.

Pre-requisite for Skippers: Skippers must have experience sailing collegiate 420 and be approved to skipper. As skipper, you will be chartering your boat and the responsible party for the boat’s maintenance. If you do not have a crew then one may be provided to you at coach’s discretion – adult or junior. Please submit the waitlist form if you do not have a crew.
Beginner Crew: If you are not sure who will skipper your boat then please use the interest form / waitlist to be paired with a skipper. You must have a skipper, pass swim test, and get coach’s approval to attend these group coaching sessions. If you are a beginner or you are only comfortable sailing as crew, you may sign up as long as you have a skipper/partner already.
Practice Times: We will meet on the four weekends leading up to the regatta (April 22, 29, May 6, 13) each Saturday or Sunday afternoon depending on the weather and other sports schedules. Our club has a new boat leasing policy and code of conduct which we will review in orientation. Our goal is to use these four coaching sessions is to practice for the 2023 Wind n’ Waves Regatta on May 19, 20, 21. Practice and regatta registration are mandatory for the sailors signing up for this spring practice clinic. Orientation meeting is mandatory for sailor and one parent on Friday, April 21st 5pm.
