Sep 21, 22: USODA Horizon Camp

- Train with US Team Coaches Juan Carlos Romero and MacKenzie MacGlucken
- This is an excused school absence. USODA will give you a letter for your teacher
- Coach Meg has been working on this opportunity for three years. Please participate. This is our chance to bring in skilled coaching and variety of learning / training styles at out level and at our budget. This is scaled to where we are as a program and is one of the steps it takes for our program to grow into the scale of a program like Hampton or Annapolis. (PS: Meg here – sometimes the trick is a new coach, new competitors, and a fresh approach. Please take this opportunity. It truly is world class.)
Sep 23, 24, 25: Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Sailing Festival
** Optional but highly recommended. This is a FUN GREENIE REGATTA weekend jam packed full of kid and parent friendly mini-events. We are all about this being the regatta that kids want to come back to. There is a ton of playing in the pool, building cardboard boats, more playing …and some lighthearted sailing competition. Even if the wind picks up, have your sailor come on the committee boat for team fun, helping race committee, and cheering on the other sailors.
