2025 Homeschool Cape Explorer Spring Camp – May 5 to May 8

Ages: 8-12 | 13-18 years old

Cost: $85 for Hatteras Sailing Members, $95 for Non Members

Number of Participants: Min 8 / Max 16

Dates: May 5 to May 8 (m,t,w,th)

Registration Deadline: March 15, 2025 if not filled by that date, we will open registration to general public

Time: Drop off 9am Pick Up 12pm

Bring: Sunscreen, swimming shoes, snack & reusable water bottle

Details: Explore Cape Hatteras from the water. Join Hatteras Sailing’s sailing team and coaches as we learn about our local environment and get an introduction to Hatteras Sailing’s fleet of sailboats. Weather permitting, we will sail on a range of different types of sailboat as we learn more about the Pamlico Sound: 42’ Sabre Cruising Boat, Stiletto 27’ Catamaran, HObie 16, C420, and Optimist Dinghy.

Membership:  Membership in Hatteras Sailing is very reasonably priced and offers so many boating benefits and discounts that its highly unlikely to be a poor investment.  Year Round Local Residents have a Family Membership Price of $100 per year.  Cape Select Membership is our special program for Rental Property Owners that they can share with their guests and promote Hatteras Sailing Benefits as an additional ammenity to their Vacation Rental Clients, but is based on the bedroom capacity of the rental property.  More about Cape Select Membership.  Be sure to get your membership before signing up and save all year long on other programs.  It also supports the Educational Mission of the Non Profit Program which is to provide the educational pathways for local and seasonal families, especially their kids, to grow a passion and love for sailing and seamanship.  Year Round Local Membership  |  Cape Select Membership Program
