$300.00

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Jan 30, 2025

Ages: 8-12th graders

Cost: Costs are different than the fees we charge.  Its important for participants to understand that the operational costs of offering the High School Sailing Program are pretty expensive, and that every effor is being made through fundraisers, memberships, and public grants, to get the FEES as low as we can for you.

FINAL SCHEDULE: 7 practices / 2 regattas / 8 Sailors = $600 per sailor.  If paying 50% or $300, the second payment should be scheduled for April 1 or earlier.

Practice: Practice starts February 15. We will practice at Colington Yacht Club or Hatteras Community Sailing at the coach’s discretion.  If we sail only 2 regattas, we will have one additional practice.

Regattas: Regattas this Spring include Northpoints #6, Northpoints #7, Azalea Bowl and the Hatteras Wind and Waves One Design Regatta in May.

Details: We will sail 10 activities including either 3 regattas and 7 practices or 2 regattas and 8 practices depending on the votes cast in the Schedule Input Form. The boats and sails are provided. You need some personal equipment including life vest, gloves, proper shoes, possibly foul weather gear.
