Please refer to the beginner program plan. I think it should be our goal to have a similarly detailed program plan for each of the three groups. Jay has suggested that Nathan and Bob plan the intermediate and that he can volunteer himself for planning the Invitational team schedule.
Resource Documents:
I found this great resource document on teaching sailing the “fun way” which I was able to use to get great ideas for the beginner program. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h3K7RaxXqCk3bQJHKmqYKYO9SjBYksg8/view?usp=sharing

Planning Documents
I created a google drive folder for the raw planning documents. If you guys can do the planning in google docs, I can post here on the website and get them shared on social.

To reconfirm, Nathan Snead and Bob Moscowitz are planning the intermediate program and Jay is planning the invitational program. If you have any questions, please reach out.
LOL – seriously this is all soooo new to me. I found this: https://www.severnsailing.org/optis/#block-6c8e751eda5e43f82cd0
It seems our invitational team equates with “green fleet” in other clubs. But I think there is some great content there that we can learn from so that we know what we need to focus our advanced team on before we take them on the road. (assuming Jay and Bob know all this and I am just late to the party)
GIANT BIG THANK YOU to Nathan and Jay for such great lesson planning. this is much better planned than we have ever been and I think it went very well with the beginners today.
